Root Chakra/Mars- Advanced Chakraology

All Advanced Chakraology classes begin with a general overview and information about the Chakra followed by specific information for each class participant about their Chakra as seen in their birth-chart. If you already have a birth-chart, great – if not we will look it up during class.

The Root Chakra symbolises our Life-Force and our physical nature including our health, vitality, sex-drive, muscles, our energy level, how we move and our desire to stay in a body and on the planet. We will explore not only these physical attributes but also see how the energy and desire of the Root is given purpose and meaning by it’s counterpart – the Crown Chakra.

Aries and Scorpio are the 2 signs ruled by Mars– the planet representing the Root Chakra. If you are Aries or Scorpio Sun, Moon or Rising you will find this area of life stands out in your experience- for better or worse. Many others have a strong Root Chakra experience based on the position and aspects of Mars in their chart. We’ll take a look at each class participant’s Mars and see what the specific style and needs of their Root Chakra are and how to best support this area of life.
