Astrology charts are a picture of the energy of a precise Time and Place. Your birthchart shows the energy of You – as you were born at your unique time and place. but there are other charts that are created as we move through Time – Solar Returns, Venus, Returns, Saturn Returns and so on….These charts add to the birthchart and stay in effect for part of your life. If you are able to travel you will be able to tweak these charts to have a more favorable experience. The Time is our of our hands but the Place is optional and that is where Astro-Travel comes in. Your birthday is the starting point for a year’s worth of unique energies and experiences. A Solar-Return chart (the moment the Sun returns to the place in the zodiac it was at when you were born) shows you what your year is going to be like. Now you can tweak you year’s energy by by traveling to a precise location for your birthday and tweaking that chart to have yourself a better experience for that year. You get this Solar-Return chart whether you are aware of it or not. It has happened every year of your life and it acts like a 2nd, temporary chart that acts in addition to your birthchart. It lasts for one year until your next birthday when you get a new one for that year. And let’s face it – some years are better than others. We can’t change our destiny (seen in your birthchart) but we can make our experience less challenging and more enjoyable each year.
And that’s just the beginning! Astrology shows us all the different influences that are at play within us – “wheels within wheels” as it is said in the Bible. The Solar Return shows our main, overall energy for the year. The Venus Return is another chart that influences your Love Life and Creativity – something we all are interested in. Whether you are coupled or not your experience can be made easier or more difficult as seen in this chart. Venus doesn’t move the same as the Sun so this chart will not be the same day every year and will not last the same amount of time each year. The Venus Return chart typically lasts 11 or 13 months before the next one begins.
Mercury Return is another important and often overlooked chart. If you are ruled by Mercury – Gemini or Virgo, Sun-sign or Rising-sign – your Mercury Return may be most important yearly chart of all! Mercury is one of the most important planets for everyone as it shows how your Mind works and how you communicate with people around you. Mercury Return also happens about once a year but never on the same date.
Sometimes you may only need to travel a short distance. Sometimes you may need to stay right where you are for a favorable chart and make sure you are not traveling that day. Sometimes you may need to travel to another country for the best chart.
