The Planets – Astrology Basics
Each week we’ll take a look at a different planet and learn more about ourselves and our own way of being in the world
With so many just beginning with astrology I thought a series of basic classes on each planet would be a good place for many to start. The Planets represent different parts of our being – the thinking part, the feeling part, etc….and are therefore the most important things to know about in our astrology charts. What makes this 9-week course so valuable to you is that not only do you get to hear information about the planet in general in the first half of class but we then take a look at your planet and see how it shows up on your exprience, what it’s style, strengths and challenges are. Everyone is different and so you’ll get a personalized description of how this or that planet works for you! April 29 will be the first class and we will look at Mercury – the planet of the Mind. We’ll move through the solar system with a different planet each week – Venus– romance and creativity, Mars – Action, physicality, desire, Jupiter– growth and exploration, Saturn– stability,, Uranus – authenticity, Neptune– idealism, Pluto– transformation and the Shadow, and wrap things up with The Moon -emotional needs and relationship style -considered by many astrologers to be the most important planet in our chart.
You are welcome to join us for one, several or all classes. Classes will be from 1 1/2 – 2 hours depending on how many students we have. You’ll get a zoom link and instructions once you register. You will be shown in a deep, fun, mind-opening and easily understandable way our instinctive nature and the 7 basic energies every human comes here to experience and express.
